Experienced and ethical

guidance

Stephanie Kwo Friedl Founder/Owner

I’m more than an experienced college advisor.

As a college consultant and parent who survived my own three kids’ college admissions journeys, I've been there, navigating the twists and turns and highs and lows of applying to college.

I've built my practice on this foundation of personal and professional experiences, and families appreciate my unparalleled level of personalized 1:1 coaching, carefully crafted tools and resources, and ethical, knowledgeable, and sound advising that empowers students to plan their own successful path to college.

I’m fueled by the pure joy of helping young people succeed.

By leveraging my education and experiences as a college admissions expert and mom preparing my own three kids to soar (two currently in college - SDSU and Occidental College and one done - University of San Diego BA, Northwestern University MS), I’ve helped hundreds of students successfully apply to college for the first time, complete transfer applications and essays, and apply to grad school.

I stay up to date with the latest college developments and trends through frequent professional seminars and workshops, college visits, networking with admissions folks and peer professionals, and endless hours of reading and research.

Oh, and I’m also a lover of historical fiction, Broadway musicals, museum hopping, art & design, binging politics & college podcasts, solving the day’s NYT word puzzles, and dogs.
